We decided to take the adventure of a lifetime and go on the hunt for the truth about The Pirate Jose Gaspar, and his many undiscovered treasures. While uncovering history in this quest to find the truth, we began to research this legend. The information collected has led us to the facts within this story, and the team has made historical findings that is rewriting history. The team has recently made contact with families that are linked within the legend. The metal plate which has the treasure map engraved on, is now in the possession. This plate has been discredited for many years has been obtained. There is reason to believe that although “Jose Gaspar” may have been a fictional person, the gold buried in this area is real. Contact has been made with the oldest living family in Florida that has ties to the pirate tale. The grandson Greg, is Uncle Vern’s nephew through marriage of Boggess and the Collins family, and will also be joining us on this quest. The Real Treasure Hunters are Michael Gattuso, Lauren Gattuso, Todd Stiger, Stacie Hunt, Erin Melcher, and Corey Bigler. Mr. Gattuso had taken treasure hunting has a hobby, which eventually lead him into a pirate tale that took over him. The legend Jose Gaspar was so intriguing that with all the twists and dead ends that it made it virtually impossible tio prove his existence. The date has been scheduled to start filming for the premiere of The Real Treasure Hunters. The movie is set to roll. The producers have sought permission to begin filming on scene at the Peace River. After decoding the clues, the hunters begin their search!
